How Do I Become a Certified Backflow Tester in Oklahoma?
Backflow Preventer Assembly Testing in Oklahoma is not specifically regulated by any state level agency, so each jurisdiction (city, county, or water purveyor) can accept or deny certificates based on their own rules. Most if not all jurisdictions require a tester to be certified through ASSE or ABPA, where our courses in Oklahoma are affiliated with ABPA. Reference Tulsa, OK, standard ( Title 14 901.6.3 ) and similar ones by other jurisdictions. For Reservations or Federal Property you could probably just do our course without a third party exam.

The APBA exams use the USC 10th Edition testing procedures. On our YouTube Channel, we created a series of videos where we test the four types of preventers using these procedures:
