We don't currently have any open enrollment courses scheduled in the state of Oregon. We offer private courses and have a hosting program if you wanted to host a course. We also have open enrollment courses that are a similar USC based curriculum and have the same exams in California
Backflow Preventer Assembly Testing in Oregon is regulated by the Oregon Health Authority, they have a few courses approved directly, they do not appear to accept third party certifications but would likely in the event you hold an ABPA or Washington State license.
Link to more info and the application with the state is here
We are not currently listed but hoping to submit our course for approval to the Health Authority shortly.
We recommend using the the USC 10th Edition testing procedures. On our YouTube Channel, we created a series of videos where we test the four types of preventers using these procedures:
The Complete Guide to Testing Backflow Preventers - By the Book
Reduced Pressure Principle (RPZ) - USC 2-Valve Procedures
Double Check Valve Assembly (DCV) - USC Procedures
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB) - USC Procedures
Spill Resistant Vacuum Breaker (SVB) - USC Procedures
