
For South Carolina, backflow testers are managed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) - https://des.sc.gov/programs/bureau-water/drinking-water/cross-connection-control-backflow-prevention - although they have accepted reciprocal programs in the past that we offered, they currently have a new list, and none of our programs are on the list, so it appears for South Carolina we would recommend that you schedule your class directly with SCDHEC.
We do the Georgia version of our course in Augusta, GA, sometimes and the Georgia program was at some point valid as a reciprocal license in South Carolina, but as of August 2025 it appears they do not accept this program. More info on our Georgia Program and the GAWP Approval on the Georgia Page
All of our courses utilize the University of Southern California, Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research ( USC-FCCHR ) 10th Edition testing procedures and diagnostics, using derivative materials and auxiliary tests if applicable by the local authorities.
