To test backflow preventers in the state you have to be certified through the state. We have more info at the below link, essentially you have to complete a course and then take an exam with the state.
Does KTA offer backflow courses in Texas?
No we don't. This website is mostly set up just to exist if we end up doing courses in the state at a later date.
Which Backflow Prevention Testing Procedures Should I Use ?
All of our courses utilize the University of Southern California, Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research ( USC-FCCHR ) 10th Edition testing procedures and diagnostics, using derivative materials and auxiliary tests if applicable by the local authorities.
