For North Carolina, there is no state level program that manages backflow prevention assembly testing, it is left up to each city, county, or local water purveyor. Most accept the Virginia State Program or the Georgia State Program, some may have their own requirements.
No we don't. This website is mostly set up just to exist if we end up doing courses in the state at a later date. We do offer open enrollment courses in Virginia and Georgia that would likely be acceptable.
We have found the USC-10th Edition testing procedures to be the most efficient. On our YouTube Channel, we created a series of videos where we test the four types of preventers using these procedures:
Reduced Pressure Principle (RPZ) - USC 2-Valve Procedures
Double Check Valve Assembly (DCV) - USC Procedures
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB) - USC Procedures
Spill Resistant Vacuum Breaker (SVB) - USC Procedures
