
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regulations 77 Ill. Adm. Code 890 requires that backflow assembly tests being done in reference to public water purveyor containment be performed by a licensed plumber with the CCCDI ( Cross Connection Control Device Inspector ) designation.
There used to be a website that clearly outlined all of this but it may have been taken down, from what we have seen through research, the only school approved for this CCCDI designation is the Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville - their program is linked here
All of our courses utilize the University of Southern California, Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research ( USC-FCCHR ) 10th Edition testing procedures and diagnostics, using derivative materials and auxiliary tests if applicable by the local authorities.
