Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers, especially those working with water purveyors in the state, are regulated by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and they generally do their own classes at the Fleming Training Center.
No we don't. This website is mostly set up just to exist if we end up doing courses in the state at a later date. If you need a license for Mississippi or Kentucky we have programs for those states, and they do not accept the Tennessee State Program, but for the state of Tennessee we do not have approved backflow courses.
We have found the USC-10th Edition testing procedures to be the most efficient. On our YouTube Channel, we created a series of videos where we test the four types of preventers using these procedures:
Reduced Pressure Principle (RPZ) - USC 2-Valve Procedures
Double Check Valve Assembly (DCV) - USC Procedures
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB) - USC Procedures
Spill Resistant Vacuum Breaker (SVB) - USC Procedures
